BES-Technical provided Stage 3, 4 and 5 MEP design services for a new mining vehicle maintenance facility at Bartles Foundry. The £1.2m MEP package included specialist maintenance areas, welfare and office accommodation, stores facilities and supporting infrastructure.

The challenge
The existing design information contained multiple scope gaps, creating uncertainty around project requirements and delivery. These issues required review and resolution before the design could be progressed and coordinated effectively.
The outcome
BES-Technical identified and resolved the outstanding scope gaps, providing a coordinated MEP design solution that enabled the project programme to be maintained and progress without unnecessary delay.
This project is part-funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund. Cornwall Council is responsible for managing projects funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund through the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Good Growth Programme.
