BES-Technical was appointed to undertake an EPC assessment for an existing GP surgery, providing the information required to support the client’s compliance and property management requirements.
Scope of work
BES-Technical was responsible for:
- Surveying the existing building
- Producing measured floor plans
- Gathering building and services information
- Completing the EPC assessment and certification
The challenge
The building remained fully operational throughout the survey process, requiring the assessment to be completed within a live healthcare environment. Accurate building measurements and asset information were needed while minimising disruption to staff and patients.
The outcome
BES-Technical successfully completed the building survey, produced the required floor plans and delivered the EPC certification. The assessment was completed while maintaining the day-to-day operation of the surgery and meeting the client’s requirements.
