BES-Technical provided building services design for the M&E infrastructure supporting a rapid deployment accommodation project within a secure estate. Working on behalf of Totus Engineering, the £750k package included the infrastructure and plant room systems required to support new modular accommodation units.
Scope of work
- Electrical distribution systems, earthing and bonding
- Power supplies from the new LV switch room to modular units
- Water supplies and associated storage systems
- Small power and lighting within plant rooms and external areas
- Power supplies to specialist systems including Cell Call, General Alarm, Night Pegging and CCTV
- Plant room heating and cooling systems
- Fire alarm systems
- TV aerial systems
- Lightning Protection Systems

The project required the coordination of multiple building services systems to provide the infrastructure necessary to support new modular accommodation units and associated security systems.
